Performance Question Plz Help

Post by ed933 »

Hi, just started playing Spring. I have a P4 (Ht) 2.88Ghz ,1024mb ram but an integrated graphics card - Intel 82915G/GV/910GL (GMA900). I know i can run Spring fine, I'm just asking about the limitations and when it'll start to lag badly. I've checked the requirments page and didn't find this particular graphics card but found similar ones. I just wanna make sure how well I can play Spring.

Hope you all have fun playing Spring as much as i will!!!!

Its a very good configuration ... with less than that i can host for 12 players with no lag !!!

(dont forget to root ports and shut down your rooter if u want to host battle ...)

good play !!!

What drolito is trying to say is that you need to adjust the port forwarding (or NAT traversal) rules of your router to permit Spring's traffic if you want to host. Capable hosts are always in high demand because only about one in four players can host. No idea why the rest can't, I suppose router settings are too complicated for them.

Never thought my Integrated Graphics card would get me this far! Well, thanks for the advice! I'll check which ports to forward on the FAQ!

Your graphics card only affects your own personall FPS, the actual game simulation will be running fine for everyone else aslong as your CPU usage isnt too high.

As above - it should run fine, just make sure you keep the graphics settings on minimal levels to keep the play fluid :)

Oh and welcome to Spring!
