Spring Crashes While loading map

A friend of mine has a computer that should easily run spring (plenty of ram, graphics card is great, and processor is fast) but for some reason every time he tries to play, Spring just closes. No error message, nothing. He sets up his map and what not and clicks "start" or "play" or whatever the button is labeled and the screen goes black like its gonna pull up the load screen but then it just crashes.

So....whats going on here? He's already pulled a reinstall of spring, too.

Sounds like a GraphicsProblem - have you tried it with all settings low or deativated ? Can he launch Replays?

I'll have to get him to try a replay, and yes, all graphics are as low as low can be.
