thnx for the peeps who supported me n stuff. i mean come on it dosent have any nudity or anything in it. i was talking with some friends and the idea came up so i made it in like 15 min for a joke map. chill out forb damn bro =p. cant you laugh some times ??. there have been worst maps out there in many games like in cs anyone ever play aim_porn or a few others that really show porn. that 13 yr will be playing all day ??. atleast i covered it up lol. even thought i had lots of people asking me not too lol. not saying any names =p.
next time i make a map out of a girl ill make sure to use a 500 pound fat chick instead. =p to fit forbs style lol j/k bro but yea .

Im pretty sure this violates some agreement we made when downloading spring somewhere... linking to a map with pron on it is different from linking to pron directly how..?

I know the latter is not tolerated on the forum.. so why this..?

That much is true. But it's up to whoever is the administrator of the lobby to disallow the map, and whoever hosts it to stop doing so. Not the mappers.

They really shouldn't start disallowing joke maps (huge difference between joke maps and porn maps) though. But if they want to, it's their choice.

Rather than categorize all the maps on Unknownfiles, why not just implement a tag system for maps? Make tags for type of map like: metal, water, ice; tags for mods the map is good for: AA, Final Frontier, etc; Tags for suggested number of players, etc. Set up 4 or 5 categories of tags, each with specific tags, then a player could just select AA + 6 players + water map and get results of Delta Siege, SSB. Or you could just select all maps with water, or all maps for 6 players, or any other combination. It'd provide a great way to sort all the maps and find what you're looking for, and I think there's some off the shelf tag/category web software like that.

If you hadn't brought that to attention, people probably wouldn't have noticed it even existed, and if they did they'd either think "Ha! Why the hell did anyone make this?" or "ZOMG BOOBIES". I have not looked at that pic cause I am at work and I imagine that it is a hand drawn picture of a naked woman.

At what point in your mindset of failure does that belong in an RTS? DO you want your kids playing something of obvious high caliber?

second i have a very nice and hot gf that i love and might get married too after i get back from basic training. and yes she has seen the map.

I know what my Kids would play. And it is difficult.. while i would have no Problem taking them to a Museum and explaining things - this Map would be difficult for underagers... So it is the Problem of Yout protection versus the Freedom of Speech ? On the Otherhand Kids see worser things googling for pictures or simply in puplic Advertising - hell that is really a difficult thing. The Proplem is that you can not rely on Parents to sit there and explain things...

I can`t give a final answer to that by now.. i will have to think over it and find a sollution that satisfys both sides...

In Case of Emergencys Answering i would say that the Freedom of Speach is still a higher ranking good than even growing kids up in a "antiseptic-clean" Enviroment. They would survive it, Culture wouldn`t survie Censorship. It sounds cruel, but it fits into a cruel world.

@ the other Posters: When did you have your first Contact with Images like that and was it too early?

Forb... Its a map made for a bit of fun. Why are you worrid? It's not like its a typical example of what Spring maps are like. Hell you see stuff as bad just wandering around the shops, and no one goes "Take down that pic of a lady in laguare!" (Help im dyslexic... lingery? langeray? I dont know how its spelt). Just ignor it its hardly worth the time you've spent typing is it.

Hydrix plz, i like you Pirates Map, but the Matter is serious. I think Fa fears that a journalist or reporter (who always dig for the worst stuff) could take this into a Magazine or a Newspaper, wrote the line blow, that he had to censor it, because the picture was taht horrible ( Believe me Journalism works that way) and all of the Sudden the Sentence would be in the World "Everybody doing Spring Maps is nearly criminal."

However this point of Press-Gunfire would come anyway, if they don`t get you for such stuff, they get you for Violence (I slaugthered hundreds of poor -Robots. Cant never ever sb think of the Robots).
If not than for Religion ("The horrible new cult of CORE") or simply for not buying there Newspaper (Spring Folks are all Analphabetic, because they flame that much!") So we never will get complete Cover, simply because we exist.
We could get worser Things Attention for than a not-naked Girl.

lol i love spring in all but spring will never be a main stream game bro. so there isnt much to worry about once again i bring up a point. there are wrost maps in other games. they dont seem to bash on them about it. they bash on the fact people play so much of them and how they control some people lives lol =p
if anyone has palyed cs they have prob played aim_porn atleast one time. and yes i map for 1.6 and it is 300 x harder to make maps for a fps then this game. and the ampping com just laffed about it . i didnt make the map but it really has porn iamges of sex n shit. mine dosent. there is naother map with like 8 defrent rooms in a surfmap lol with porn in it. there is the kz mario map with a hidden porn room the list goes on and on and on and on.
