First off, if you have a suggestion for a new unit go here. this forum is for ANY other suggestion you have regarding PA. Comments that aren't related or constructive will be removed.

put your game on rapid!
Besides making it easier for players (especially with ZeroK-Lobby) to get your game, and coming versions of it, this is also a requirement for getting easy autohosts for your game.
To have autohosts is important, cause only they currently support mid-game joining, which is important to get more folks for your game.
Please take this seriously, it is important, and it does not cost you a lot of time.

Get help in #zk.

Idea: Generals

The idea is to have specs with /specfullview locked off (or unitless teams) that can only command (or advise) the teams in their ally.
So this generals can keep an overview of the whole battle, steer it on a bigger scale and tutor their commanders.

Additionally there can be some sort of ranking for the generals, so that they give special bonuses to their ally, like +2dps for air units, +5health for kbots and stuff.

This would open up a whole new level of gaming, while beeing quite cheap to implement.

This maybe a bit jerk-suggestion, sorry about that, but I think you should reconsider the name again.

There has been billions different variations of annihilations with supercool and sometimes not so cool adjectives/attributes that thinks their attribute is describing their game best and of course most admirably. Imo they sound just stupid and most times fail miserably.

Think about Balanced Annihilation. How logical does that sound to you? Yes, it sounds absolutely stupid :) Same thing with Complete Annihilation, which thank god have been changed to something a bit more clever.

I think you could do something more creative.

The attribute/adjective progressive in the first place can make hardcore BA players shiver because BA players do not like progression ;)

I mean that while your mods name can depict the gameplay of your mod and how it progress etc. it still can imply or can be understood as your mod is not ready and rather is in constant progression and that you are possibly making huge changes in it.

Even if not, it's still a bit dull name. Every game progresses?

Yeah I had something like TA Generals in mind :-) if you implement the feature(s) CommanderSpice suggested. And not just lightly....

But dont think it's easy to add like commanderspice thinks it is.
Things like lobby support would be gr8. And also somethign like having a team players.

adding dps i dont think is good. Having some (small) metal pot to give would be better. Think about the attention newbies could have, more love towards them...

I like the idea of the Generals, it'd be a great way for players to help new players and experience game play differently. Also once the new spring version is out it will be possible to have teams without any units being alive. I'm not so sure about the experience levels though, the bonus a general grants should be something unchanging that any player can choose otherwise the game could quickly become one sided with an experienced General vsing less experienced ones.

Just an example:

+5% Hp to every unit.

+5% DPS to every unit.

+5% Range to every unit.

+5% Speed to every unit.

+5% extraction rate from mexes.

+5% energy income from energy structures.

As well as specialist ones.

Kbot/Tank/Aircraft Specialist

+5% to HP, DPS.

As well as bonus' the general could be able to call in units from off map, like drop in units or call in aircraft.

I will try and implement a system like this, if it turns out well it'll end up in the game perhaps as a mod option.

As for the name, feel free to make any suggestions for it. I had to change the name quickly when I changed it to PA.
