Would be great to have some more 1v1 maps that are bigger than 8x8-10x10.

Well cause there is a differance.
They ar ebalanced for team games.
Starting positions that are placed near the edges of the map that contain big amounts of metal for example.
On some maps liek crossing you have 2 sides that are relativly easily defended cause they were meant to be starting positions for other players.
In short its not the same thing.most maps contain huge amounts of metal because they are meant to be played 3v3 or 4v4 or even 5v5.

Archers Valley is a good 1v1, so is moon quartet, and all the TMNT maps

Trenches is what we in spring call an amazing map, especially since it incorporates a rail system that tanks and cars can speed across, and slower areas where war is going to be tense, similar to Direct Memory Access maps center. Trenches is the widest map in spring, and has an insane skybox [that nobody will see ever].

Blockwars 64 x64 Noooooooo

I declare myself defeated in the large Map Category... and trenches.. well it is a mirrored Map... classic case were you need something to keep the People from looking to close upon it... so Skyboxes are a good tool to distract from a half Handed Map ;)

PS: If you like Big & Good Map for 1&1 i recommend Iron Gauntlet.
