Re: infologs.springrts.com

The logs.springrts.com page now has a HTML renderer specifically for entries with a tag "spring-launcher". It displays the infolog in a HTML page with linkable line numers on the left (similar to github): http://logs.springrts.com/logfiles/20/ . The upload date is displayed in your browsers locale f...

Re: BA is without a dev

Thank you for all your work!
Thanks a ton for updating BAs code base (together with FA), so it is fit for the (uncertain) future.
I hope pride in what you archived can balance the shit storm you endured.

Re: suggestion: replay backward/forward

Exactly: the replay file contains no state, only actions. So the state of the simulation must be calculated for every step. To go back a step, you'd need a reverse operation. For addition that's substraction - simple. But what if I select all units and right-click somewhere on the map? The active op...

Re: suggestion: replay backward/forward

I don't think that's possible.
It would require the engine to keep a log of all destroyed units (and thus deleted objects) in memory additionally to keeping undo-data for operations that are not strictly arithmetic - like value assignment. That would probably not only blow you RAM, but also your HDD.

Re: infologs.springrts.com

I'd like to report that I've started using it with SpringBoard through spring-launcher , and it's working great, thanks! That said, would it be possible to provide some kind of website interface for displaying logs? Ideally the logs themselves would be displayed like on pastebin, ideally with some ...

Re: TS seems broken

OK - TS is being pulled from SLDB again - should display correctly now :)
(I'll purge the old caches later.)

Re: TS seems broken

Oh boy... The wrong TS on the replay is no strange occurrence - it's simply me not having asked bibm to whitelist the replay sites new IP address for SLDB access :D
So it's operating with fantasy numbers from a stale cache ^.^

I have no idea. Bibim maintains SLDB. Maybe he can shed some light.

Re: TS seems broken

To many players have the privacy setting on, so it's very difficult to say what really happend. One possibility why the winning team did loose a lot of TS (and thus the rations on all players were adjusted leading to loosers gaining points) is, that during the match, SLDB recognized a player as smur...

Re: infologs.springrts.com

It's up! :) Getting it running in production took almost longer that coding it ^.^ HTTP-REST root: http://logs.springrts.com/ (and interactive swagger-like UI, when use with a browser) Swagger: UI: http://logs.springrts.com/swagger/ JSON: http://logs.springrts.com/swagger.json YAML: http://logs.spri...

Re: infologs.springrts.com

JSONRPC (over TCP) I realized to late, that most rpc libs nowadays do everything other HTTP. I have added support for JSON-RPC over TCP. All interfaces (REST-API, JSON-RPC over HTTP, XML-RPC over HTTP, JSON-RPC over TCP) are now rate limited. I have started with an arbitrary number of 200 requests ...

Re: infologs.springrts.com

Finished coding it: https://github.com/springfiles/springrts_logs It has a RESTish HTTP interface with Swagger/OpenAPI schema for client-autogeneration, a JSON-RPC and a XML-RPC interface. It's not yet running anywhere. I'll talk to abma about where to put it. Documentation is in the README on Githu...

Re: infologs.springrts.com

A HTTP-ReST-API with unauthenticated GET (list and get) and POST (create) methods OK? (Plus non-API admin interface to edit/delete for now?) That's probably fine. I'll be using it through my spring-launcher and it shouldn't have any issues with accessing that (whereas using it from Lua might requir...

Re: infologs.springrts.com

I'd start by just having a public service to upload log files (probably intologs but not necessarily). No login required to read nor write. Maybe you could allow us to specify tags so that later we can build on it (user rights, searches, notifications, parsers, etc), but nothing more than a list of...

Hmm... there is still something odd going on with the parsing (damn binary formats...). Some files from that I can extract team stats on my machine don't on the replay site... sigh...
Somehow a lot of demofile on my disk have truncated team statistics...

Re: infologs.springrts.com

The infolog page has the logic to allow only game+engine devs and the uploader (gamer) to read the contents and add comments. It also can do post-upload-processing of the data. Currently only extracts the gameID :) It connects existing replays and infologs using the gameID. Having a service to uploa...

Re: infologs.springrts.com

dansan, Is there any way you could allow infolog to be uploaded without a user account? And btw, what was the link to the API? I can't seem to find it in the obvious places (repo or site) Hi, there is a json_rpc upload method, but it seems broken. I haven't check it in a long time and it seems the ...
