Supcom is fun.. just you feel like sometimes you have to chew your way through a dumpster full of dog shit in order to find that 20 dollar bill at the bottom.. At least that is how it feels playing that game.. That and the maps available are made of fail... most of them that is.. to many 8 v 8 maps...

^There is absolutely no reason to use normal mapping over bump mapping in this case, or in most cases for that matter. When you use bump-mapping the bumpmap is expanded to a normal map at runtime, it is often quite wastefull to store a normal map on disk.

I did think maybe I over optimised it for symitry... but lack of prior knoedge is to blame for that. Next time Ill prob jsut have the arms and legs mirrore dand leave the body the same. yeah, it's not realy necessary to create unmirrored arms and legs becasue their assymetry in the model makes texu...

Yeah, specificaly it's EMP weapon is a bit strong, i'd recomend just ditching it and giving rectors/necros capture functionality and some EMP resistance...

If you want to keep it best to just give it an EMP beam that effects 1 unit and has to keep firing to remain in effect on it...

I have to agree with swift-spear, here the face doesnt look too bad but the symetry on the shirt looks a tad gaarish, I try to avoid symetry in UV maps altogether except for in special cases...
