Almost all of the code in the spring engine and the OTA mods is original and it is not in any way being used for profit, thus I believe that we are officially free from the cavedog IP.

Nevertheless, best not to let Atari know about us...

I think that you should move all current ships to T2 and add T1 ships such as gunboats, corvettes and finally, frigates. The main problem here is early game ship-rush, which can be solved by giving the T1 shipyard point-defense or a adding cheap on-shore torpedo launcher.

Is it possible to make a fighter plane, upon getting the aircraft it is attacking into weapons range, slow down to the speed of said aircraft? That way, a freedom fighter attacking a shadow will maneuver behind the bomber and fire its weapons, at the same time being fired back at by the tail gun. Ta...

Just wanted to know, are airfields still unbuildable on anything other than geothermal vents in the latest build? I'd rather the airfield and aircraft to simply be more expensive as a solution to air spamming.
