Re: Spring is running in SMP

So you have tested 6-core Dunnington? :D

Or are you talking about multiple socket?

Anyways: AF - Video works fine here on VLC .9.6 on Mac OS X 10.5.5

I am over joyed that Spring works in SMP now!
Does CA work yet or is CA un playable in SMP mode?

Re: TAS client fails to update

I downloaded the client from jobjob or whatever, and now I think I've broken Spring completely

I'll uninstall and wait for .77 to come out before reinstalling :)
Such is the life of living on the edge :D

Re: To All Those Who Said Spring Is Dieing/Losing Players

CA Downloader + Chicken helped me convinced 5 of my friends to play

I also play 1 v chicken a lot, it's entertaining for the RUSH :D

Spring needs to be able to auto dl maps and mods
CA Downloader is a good step in the direction, but it needs to be faster / easier

Re: Spring is running in SMP

Excellent, I am very anxious at testing this out.

Are you only working to get this on dual cores, or completely expandable to eight cores (if there were that many things needed)?

I can't wait for an easy Windows exe, I'd love to help with debugging.

Treat the war like a war, tax to fund, put more boots on the ground and take the PR rap. That would work if the federal level was required to keep a balance (many state and local governments are required to keep balance). The logistical nightmares involved in such an implementation on a grand scale...

Fix Teams

According to Licho, balance was copied from Springie for the lobby client (Satrik's and Klinks... the one that is updated often for Windows) Could you implement the full balance set which includes fix teams. Not fix colors or fix alliances, but teams (com sharing). The latest lobby helps a lot in hi...

Agreed.
In my opinion this update (.75b2) should have LuaUI enabled by default with these special effects. Really changes the game.

Also perhaps can we restrict the developer widgets to the svn build?

Why would you support Mac Intel chips when they can just run windows natively? I thought this thread was about a PPC version of spring!!! I don't think low bus bandwidth of the PPC chip would hurt performance. Running Windows on Apple hardware defies the entire point of buying a Mac OS X - based sy...

But I like the banning / autokick ability. It's nice when used properly.

It'd be nicer if it auto removed players from a block list, cool heads must prevail.

In the next version, for the infolog can you add system specs ?

It could serve helpful in trying to determine if it's graphic card drivers.

Another crash, this time I'm puzzled

Just hosting the game, a few folks left, but no one seemed to desync, I'm slightly perplexed at why it crashed. Map: DeltaSiegeDry.smf Mod: "Balanced Annihilation V5.4" from BA54.sd7 Number of damage types: 42 Unknown feature type Spring 0.74b3 Player lavishpcar2 joined as 0 Player [[ITER]...
