Spring RTS Engine

After following the guide for ubuntu 9.10 and updating the ppa I had to manually install spring-engine (sudo apt-get install spring-engine) to get it to update from 0.80.5 to the current version.

*Umm NVM forgot to do sudo apt-get upgrade

Updating registry didn't work for me.. what am I missing?( besides the brain... )

I know this is an old topic but I would like to know how to change this also.. I tried changing the scroolwheelspeed value in the registry but the game crashes after it. Is there any other way?

When I start a game AI doesn't do anything, i'm gessing it is because I don't have a build tree for Balanced annihilation mode. Does anyone know where to get it? thanks
