a few Spring 0.89 Linux bugs

Hi I just updated to Spring 0.89 and I noticed ATi PointSize bug is still present. I'm using fglrx on Kubuntu 12.04. Another bug is related to zooming in and out by using a mouse wheel. It's very unresponsive and sometimes it's not working at all - I have to wait for the moment and it starts working...

Maybe it's related to this bug:

I have a crash with Open Source radeon drivers and afaik we're both using mesa which seems to be the culprit here. With Catalyst drivers Spring runs just fine.
