Thanks to FLOZi, CRAIG is now fixed. I tested on map 1944_Road_To_Rome_v3 (this has a flag profile so the AI plays a little better) and it works.

There is no mesh collisions there, they use yardmap. As for the broken anims: when you scale a model, you should also check the script (.BOS in this case) for any 'move' commands, and scale move distances by the same factor. Spring1944 2.0 is not compatible with engine versions greater than 100.0.

Please use a dev build of Spring:1944. You can join any of S44 dev autohosts to auto-download it.

It looks like a synced unitdef change. That is, you shouldn't do that based on one machine springsettings (unless it's for SP only).

Forb, that's the old flare code. Basically if you do show/hide inside a FireWeapon callin, then the engine shows a weapon flare effect instead. Your Create() function sets both shooting_numa and shooting_numb to 0, and your QueryWeapon1() and QueryWeapon2() only check for 1 and 2. So for 0 there is no return value -> you get those warnings.

Modify Create() to set those variables to 1 instead.

If I remember correctly it was called Evolva models or something like that.

Two points here:
- some of the models are quite different from original units
- they still have 'optimizations' aka missing faces on sides which you can never see in OTA engine

KKnD was more or less like the first C&C (Tiberian Dawn), minus infantry transports, plus building upgrades which unlocked units. For that last part (building upgrades unlocking units) take a look at Spring1944, we have this already done.

They can be a bit like ships on land (at least IRL WW2 armored trains were quite like that): a unit that is reasonably fast, reasonably armored, packs a punch (including it's own built-in AA), but is not maneuverable at all.

Yes, isFirePlatform and unselectable sub-units as turrets. Alternating fire between turrets is the old OTA approach, it kind of works (War at Sea mod used that quite a lot IIRC). As for composite units, you can take a look at S44 ships from git master (I think they are also in latest 'release' version as well), there is no (practical) hard limit to how many...

Andru : в стиме уже есть игра на этом движке. Forboding Angel , который тут уже отписался, как раз ее и создал. Была и попытка сделать продаваемую игру на spring, давно уже. Тогда и стима еще не было вроде. Называлась игра PURE. Не взлетело, насколько я знаю. Про zero-k лучше спрашивать прямо у них...

No. It only means you can destroy individual turrets on the ship (well, not fully destroy, but they will stop shooting when their HP is low)
