Re: many small rooms > one large one
If we learned one thing from the engine ban than its people dislike restrictions. So thinking u could revive it with more restrictions is just... If you want people on the official "chat" lobby stop the restrictions dont bring jn new ones!! Join the resistance! BA is rising again and you cant stop it!

Re: Its time to remove the engine restrictions
If someone gives you a good reason, or at least their reason, for the ban to remain in place what will you do with that information? One last time for you: "its spring" very good reasoning "it hurts development" doesnt hurt an angry playerbase and empty server more? "it has bugs" i never saw any of...

Re: Its time to remove the engine restrictions
Megatron is 100% right and i would be glad if he/we could finally get an actual reason for the ban or even better get it unbanned. Easiest and best for all.

Re: RIP BA
From a developer perspective that may look like progress. For me as a player its just frustrating No! The devs don't think it's progress, they're probably just as frustrated as you! (Ignore Forb in this please, because I know you'll try to argue that he does think it's progress. But he's not the on...

Re: RIP BA
Now we have 2 Lobbies with less players combined. 5 Mods that want to be "like ba9" (Total Obliteration, BA10, Phoenix Annihilation, BAR, Mando Annihilation) In consequence its nearly impossible to get a game started. From a developer perspective that may look like progress. For me as a player its j...

Ok
So there are devs that even care less for the wishes of their users. Nice argument

Re: 8 players to 16 players limit (and back)
I can understand that you enjoy spectating and I can understand that a lot of people enjoy playing 8v8 games, but this is simply unsustainable and killing this community in the long run. So you really think restricting players options would make players choose the option you prefer? (watch official...

Re: RIP BA
I don't represent the engine developers in any capacity. That said, I could ask you the same... This is how BA players want to be represented? Me and other players are asking for an explanation why our favorite mod is banned. Only explanation we get is : "ba9 is in stoneage and it will die if we do...

Re: RIP BA
Edit: @cgh , that wasn't aimed at you, it was aimed at Adolf, Ares, etc. Would you at least stop joining every forum thread remotely related to BA and flooding it with your toxicity? Just as soon as you and others publicly apologize for the lies. Otherwise, suck my massive botflag. I invented the b...

Re: RIP BA
Have you heard the sound a playerbise and the devs make, when they have too do a two major engine release jump? It sounds like hell sucked through a wormhole. 103.0 is deprecated. The "arguments" pro ban are getting crazier every day. I thought after "TA is like BA" or "Just play quality 4vs4" you ...

Listen, i know in your head your on some barricade right now fighting the evil empire supressing the freedom of the commoners. Do not drag unrelated people through the mud. Consider this my only warning. Keep this on topic - 103 version ban and how it affects BA. Since they took part in the discussion and supported the ban they are not unrelated imo. I dont know who was in charge of this decision but whoever was, should fi...

Re: RIP BA
as of right now there is no alternative. Silver is working on porting ba9.46 to 104 but it hasn't happened yet. As of right now a large portion of the community feels they are being blocked from playing the game they want to play. What i find particularly offensive is that S1944 was given dispensat...

Re: RIP BA
Older engines can be hosted if the game is 8 players or less. Therefore, this is not a problem. The problem is noone wants play with 8 players or less. Before the ban we had like 10-20 ba games a day now there is 0 on official lobby. For people that are not playing that might not be a problem. But ...

Re: [misc] enforcment of spring >= 104.0 for autohosts with botflag
Once there was a motor (some say "engine"), a car and drivers. The car was much loved by drivers, but as time progressed and technology advanced it became on oldtimer. There were some brave (and reckless) engineers that tried to update the car to work with the every advancing motors, but the driver...

Re: [misc] enforcment of spring >= 104.0 for autohosts with botflag
Ok. I understand this. In this case developers who want own innovations should to leave project and do something own games. Not this public project. You seem to get Open Source wrong. While the code and products are public, the organisation is definitely not. We are not state nor shareholder owned....

Re: [misc] enforcment of spring >= 104.0 for autohosts with botflag
You ( all of you) can either 1) stop whining and take a day or two to update PA to 104, then move on with your life, or We saw a lot of people failing to deliver a ba version for 104 in the last 2 years. Since im am not a Developer i dont know if the problem is on the engine dev side or on the game...

Re: [misc] enforcment of spring >= 104.0 for autohosts with botflag
What is the problem? You can still play quality 4v4 games on 103.0 BA $OLD on non-botflagged autohosts. Honestly, why aren't all games limited to <=4v4? Then there could be >4v4 exceptions for games that can fill a few <=4v4 games simultaneously without the million-spectator pile-up. Are you seriou...
