Weapons in Spring work quite similar to weapons in OTA. There are however some notable differences. Here is a breif summary of those changes:
- You can now use 32 weapons on a unit, instead of just 3.
- New weapon types. There are now some new weapon types, adding to the ability of the units.
- Slight script changes. While there is nothing drasitc, there are some differences. I do not know all of the differences, but you are bound to stumble across them yourself.
A description of all weapon.tdf tags can be found here (all variable names are case INsensitive).
Many of the weapon propertiers work similar to OTA. But there are some cob-script changes to use the new weapons beyond 3, that are, instead of AimPrimary, FireSecondary, QueryTertairy and all that, it is now AimWeapon1, FireWeapon2, QueryWeapon3 etc.
