I have some suggestions for the GUI but I wanted to know if anyone was actively developing a new GUI. I have checked out the new GUI via AF's binary builds while it has a number of neat features I think it still is lacking.
So if you are into working on the GUI let me know. I might be able to spend some time working on it but I am new to C++. I have many years in other languages to included Java.

We really have no one working at the new GUI right now. Someone on IRC already mentioned that the new gui is cursed 
The original creater is Pius I think, but he's missing for a long time now, torrasque worked on it for a while but it seems he has stopped too, jouninkomiko tried but has mysteriously disappeared as well.
Anyway if you want to help with debugging is and getting it ready, you're really welcome.
