So I made this thing... because I really wanted to +1 a post someone made... anyways, what it does it is adds a +1 button with a count to posts... it's hacky and experimental and looks kinda bad... but it seems to work in the technical sense... if anyone is interested in installing it so I can see if the +1s I'm giving things are actually showing up for other people that would be great.

i see the future of spring secured!
it will live on as WebGL based plugin for facebook and google--.

and all them haters of the concerned (they call us paranoid; traitors!) will be happy!

and the devs will have converted to the web side of the force, or perrished.
and the C++ will have left the stage in favour of javascript, and git for wiki, and the name spring for gooing.

and joy and bodily fluids will run down the hills of every map, and the new users down from out of nowhere, like the pouring rain widgets do, and the plasma shots will have been converted to butterflies, and the tank tracks into sexy girls legs and NONE shall be afraid!

Yeah... it would be two lines of code but it would also mean having to have users constantly be asked to sign in to Google and Google script being executed on each page load which I can totally see rubbing a lot of people the wrong way... an extension is a good happy middle ground I think. Passively letting the cool kids tell each other how cool they are...

Yeah... I just wanted to be able to +1 things... us cool kids like to have metrics to indicate how cool we are.

Ideally, PHPBB would update all their old useless default profile fields such as Aim, Messenger, ICQ, Yahoo etc and replace them with newer functions such as Retweet, Facebook like, Google+ +1's and so on.

I don't like buttons crap linking to other sites (especially ones that I don't use), I'd be fine with a chance to +1/like/approve this message/brofist/whatever the posts of others though, to point out if a post here was actually good without replying to it with a one-liner.

I don't think I've used with any of the things mention with any regularity in the last 10 years... though admittedly Yahoo and Windows Live Messenger are still out there being used by quite a few people.

needs more social game features, like THE WIN BUTTON thing, that when you press it you fucking win. the first time the thing is free, then you need to wait 26 minutes to use the thing again, then 47, then 93, ... unless you use SPECIAL WIN COINS - that you charge with real money - to instantly use THE WIN BUTTON for 6.7 MINUTES over and over again. to really screw that guy over yeah. you gonna be soooo rich

Adds +1 buttons to individual posts. Click it, +1 counter goes up. A way of saying "I agree" or "America, FUCK YEAH!" without having to type a response.
