That said, I will switch it back to springinfo when SI is ready, but the lack of movement is an issue. As you can see from the rss mix feed, there is all kinds of stuff happening, but you would never know it by just looking at the springinfo feed.
Since I switched the feed over to springinfo, it has plummeted from 70+ subscribers down to 18.
I had a lot of very good reasons for switching it back.
The switcharoo was not an affront to you, nor some kind of statement. It was a response to stats tanking.
Also, when analyzing the SI feed, I can't help but notice this:

Just another WordPress site

You haven't even changed the default description yet -_-
When you have SI ready to roll, we'll switch it back.

Who is doing the posting to twitter? There is also the G+ stream for spring that koshi and I have access to. Would be nice if someone besides me would actually post to these.
Speaking of, the twitter should pull from G+, mainly because a post on the G+ stream ends up in the community news, on G+ and facebook. Adding twitter is easy. That way, you post in one place (On the g+ page) and it will aggregate everywhere.
Edit: I see what you're doing with it. Meh, imo twitter should be used for dev updates (same for G+) and release informations, not random junk that gets uploaded to springfiles.
Also, your permalinks, they are ugly. Replace with /%post_id%/%postname%/ for prettyness.
I already have permalinks turned on, it's the plugins fault, and its entirely automated. Sadly Google+ is not a friend of automation, their APIs are immature and late to the game.
Why isn't the evo gplus feed on there? I use gplus for dev updates, and the mainsite for significant releases.

RSS is for getting/acquiring information, not putting/publishing
And your point is?

The frontpage is now a bit nicer with images etc
Yeah that helps the overall look quite a lot.
Because I'd like a vote/poll on wether to include it. As I see it popular support for the feed is a forb wants it vs everyone complains about it. SO I'd like some real stats.
Especially since it will determine wether news is just 'new stuff and major announcements' or wether 'development and progress updates is also included. Your Google+ updates are more of a development journal rather than a news feed. One could say that major github commits should also be in the feed with the same reasoning.
Especially when there's no distinction between a giant post with an image and real details, versus something that is trivially tiny like:

Just got a preview build of the new NotaLobby 3.0 It's super sexy. Also, relevant to your interests and mine, it supports singleplayer missions.
Which is more of a status update and doesn't really belong in the news feed. Have you considered only showing stuff in the 'news' category on your frontpage on evolutionrts.info and have these things in a development journal category?
Also make new posts instead of ninja editing old ones. Your points will be overlooked if you dont stop it, as I don't have the time to continually reread the entire thread. Especially if I don't know to look

Knorke is there any way I can tempt you to auto approve your own videos?
Where can I approve my videos? Or what do you mean? If you mean some system like it was some long time ago, where I would write a "news item" on some wordpress and then it took 3 years and constant asking to get it approved then it is too annoying for me to bother..

The better idea would be to just use the rss feed from a particular playlist. I.E. Request people who do youtube vids to make a spring playlist and aggregate any new vid from that playlist.
@knorke, unfortunately, it was used so rarely, that I didn't check it every day. If it had seen real use, the experience would have been much better.

All your youtube videos would be pulled in automatically, with the status 'pending review'.
You would then login and do one of two things:
Click publish
or, say "non spring related video?! *marks as irrelevant*"
Rinse repeat for each video, no waiting for approval from anyone else. Assuming you can be trusted not to post silly things. If you really want to though you can write a new post and publish it
More that it's orders of magnitude easier to do it then the old method. If he wants to setup individual playlists then that's even better and I can automate on a finer grained basis putting relevant videos into different categories rather than just 'knorke' 'youtube' and 'videos'
I went through most of Knorkes videos a day or two ago, and sorted through a few of kloots and the XTAReplays channel, and added one or tow plugins to speed that process up.
@Forb, If I add it to pending would you log in and approve them every now and again? Some of the stuff in the feed is appropriate, but some of it is considered innapropriate by people here, people would rather have the bigger lengthier updates than the super short Im still alive style ones

Are you kidding? My dev updates are quite lengthy. The one in particular that you are referencing is this one: https://plus.google.com/u/0/11222843848 ... pSQfU8XvY5 and it is quite appropriate, as well as it is quite lengthy.
It has to do with the development of evo and it was explaining what was going on with the missions and stuff.
Would anyone be interested in an #EvolutionRTS hangout?
Maybe a bit of a session on what you think about the game and what you would like to see changed/improved? Maybe some of you linux guys could discuss ideas on how to make it easier to install/play on linux?
I'd say those aren't relevant to enough people to warrant being on the frontpage of this site. They're certainly interesting to some people, but it isn't really news..
