The sand is really cool but it's heightmap based iirc, which makes (used to make?) big obvious squares show up wherever any buildings are. It may be better to just bake the sand texture to prevent that.
yeah, ill get rid of the heightmap dunes, as I dont like them much either, ill tone them down heavily. Also, SSB is very hard, because the heightmap and texture are both very ugly and need a lot of work.
