Hi.

When I start SpringSettings it appears this message:

"Could not access your settings"
"There was a problem retrieving your settings. Please check that the path below is correct. Path to unitsync shared library"

I have this problem with 0.86 and 0.87 version. With 0.85 version is all ok. My OS is Win Xp.

I try to replace unitsync.dll from 0.85 version. But don't work.

Thanks to all.

It's the same problem?

I have re-installed OS (Win XP Media Center), I have update all, but springsettings, tasclient, springlobby don't work with 0.86 ad 0.87 versions.

i kept getting this problem, my spring updated and was working fine. however it reset all my settings, so i proceeded to open up my spring settings from the menu at the top and each time i did it crashed my whole spring. i then decided to just uninstall and re-install the whole thing and now i cant even get onto spring lobby at all. i click springlobby desktop icon and it just comes up saying "Springlobby.exe has stopped working" same if i run as normal or run as administrator. i have uninstalled and reinstalled many times and nothing has fixed this issue.

Hi. Here is a detailed description of what happens.

Until a few days ago I was playing with version 0.85 without any problems. Everything was ok.

I downloaded and installed version 0.87.

When i try to open springsettings, these messages appear

http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/7537/screen1cn.jpg
http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/1296/screen2jx.jpg

clicking "use this path":

When I try to open springlobby, these messages appear

http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/9745/screen5eq.jpg

Springlobby not allow me to select either maps or mods for singleplay (mod maps and copied into their respective folders).
I tried to use TASClient, but if I try to start it this message:

I tried downloading several times (portable and installer). I tried to format the HD, reinstalling the operating system and remove the anti-virus. But nothing has changed.

This is the folder of spring:

I tried replacing unitsync.dll taking it from version 0.85 with no success. Currently the version 0.85 will continue to run without problems (just as singleplay and with old mods).

My OS is Window XP Media Center Edition - Version 2002 - SP3. Is a Acer notebook Aspire 9420, Core 2 T5600, 2gb ram.

Thanks for you support! :D

I think it's solved! Wow!

I have installed vcredist_x86 (released in 0.88 version) and now springsettings, lobby and spring work!
