GOG.com will be selling the Total Annihilation Commander Pack for only $2.99 this weekend. I've been playing TA in some form or another since '97 but lost my discs a few years ago. This is the perfect opportunity to pick up the game that started Spring.

GOG games are also DRM-free and they do some hacks to ensure reliability on modern systems.

does it force you to install TA:BT? because that thing fucks up all kinds of mods.

the comunity could buy three versions and make a rapid license distribution center. Whoever doesent hold the original gets the license fo rthe time of old stuff playing

My god, I must own these like three times over at least. I had the original, then when one of those cds got lost I think we got another :D plus TA was bundled a lot of times with pc mags.

Uh, that's sort of the point of GOG - Good Old Games. They specialize in outdated/out of publish games. They make them compatible with modern PC's and then sell them at low prices.

Nope. Just purchased it. It only requires TA. CC, BT, and the Editor can be installed separately.

could those guys put spring into there installer? Just making... it more compatible with 3d in Addition?

I still have all of thoose discs. I still have some missions on the Battletactics extra missions I have not completed yet.

hmm I'm waiting for an adventurous *A dev to contact them and sort out an "Acquire *A for $2.99 legally with the entire OTA bundled in" deal

ah just what I needed, a much older version of the *A spring mods that costs me money
