This is not true in general, but in special cases, like windows. If i remember correctly, they somehow pack the 32bit and the 64bit versions into a single file (for every library/executable). That is not the case on linux/unix & bsd, so i guess it is also not the case on OS X. ... not that this is relevant for this topic.
I was hoping for a 32 bit app of Spring actually. My iMac is an Intel 1.8 CD and it refuses to even open. My 2.0 C2D Mini will open Spring but will crash as soon as I try to start a game. Are ALL integrated graphics cards not supported? I'd much rather play Spring on my iMac than my Mini.
unsupported = expect a lot trouble to get it working and don't create a new forum thread each time you have troubles. First read existing threads, experiment with your config (spring & gfx driver!) ...
Well putting that LoadingMT=0 in the spring file loads the game just fine on my Intel MacMini with a Nvidea Geforce 9400. I need a bigger map to really see how it runs though. As these are Apple machines, we really don't have a choice in what graphics driver we use.
