The Mac app and lobby that are currently available are 64-bit only. Any chance of a build that supports 32-bit Macs?

Seems to still be a 64-bit executable (which means I don't even have the option of launching it). *pout*

I think he means that he's on 32bit and can't launch it (32 bit platforms can't execute 64 bit, however, 64 bit generally can execute 32 bit).

This is not true in general, but in special cases, like windows. If i remember correctly, they somehow pack the 32bit and the 64bit versions into a single file (for every library/executable). That is not the case on linux/unix & bsd, so i guess it is also not the case on OS X.
... not that this is relevant for this topic.

Double-clicking on the NotaLobby app simply gets me an OSX error message "You can't open the application NotaLobby because it is not supported on this type of Mac."

Trying to install Hackintosh 32 bit on VirtualBox, then install XCode and Qt.
If someone can help, do so, thanks

I was hoping for a 32 bit app of Spring actually. My iMac is an Intel 1.8 CD and it refuses to even open. My 2.0 C2D Mini will open Spring but will crash as soon as I try to start a game. Are ALL integrated graphics cards not supported? I'd much rather play Spring on my iMac than my Mini.

unsupported = expect a lot trouble to get it working and don't create a new forum thread each time you have troubles. First read existing threads, experiment with your config (spring & gfx driver!) ...

Well putting that LoadingMT=0 in the spring file loads the game just fine on my Intel MacMini with a Nvidea Geforce 9400. I need a bigger map to really see how it runs though. As these are Apple machines, we really don't have a choice in what graphics driver we use.

About 32 bit Spring:
Now that NotaLobby also supports 32b, I will try to make a universal build very soon. I need to check for side effects.

Note however that SpringLobby will remain 64b only for the time being, as it is much more complex to get a universal build.

Finally, I'll need testers as I don't have a core duo. If you're willing to try thing out, please PM me with your config.
