I think he does not bash bad games, instead simply does not review them. Most of the games are far more polished than any spring game though, many being for sale on steam. (Only 4,99$ but still)

the playerbase will balloon
If I remember, none of the previous "big exposure" things like features in magazines or "game of the day" did do anything for player numbers. Some games are still adjusting to 84.0, next engine version release might be soon, maybe not the best time atm.

More publicity is always good, but can't really imagine what he would spend the WTF session doing. Some games have some limited 'missions', and there are some decent bots and chickens or enemy spawners, but no game has a real campaign or any really solid single player experience.
Has he ever done multiplayer in any of his WTF's before?
he does Wtfree videos which are first impressions of free games he is usually more lenient and the free games he has reviewed in the past looks like they have less polish than some Spring games.
If Zero K could get a nice load up UI and maybe a proper SP mission or two it would be great. He does play games online if necessary.
He likes promoting the indie scene and does take a game being in beta into account (he stresses it continually in most of his videos to not give the impression a game is finished)
It might be worth a shot once the engine is more stable after 0.84.
Imo this could be used as more of a opportunity to attract interest from contributors.

If he has a decent rig I think 0K would be the best bet, albeit after someone has gone over it disabling by default some of the more obstrusive LUA. Otherwise BA... if his passion is TA it dosn't seem sensible to try and sell spring to him via KP or GRTS.
We have a most nice load up UI with the exception of nubtron (I think it is a bit useless/intrusive).
As far as singleplayer goes we have a few missions which are too static for my liking (the opponents barely move) and singleplayer vs AI which is fairly decent but can be beaten by anyone with any clue (although I have not yet seen an RTS AI for which this isn't true). http://zero-k.info/Missions/Detail/102
So it sounds like a good idea. Most likely after 85.0 because that is apparently near release and 84.0 is a bit unstable. There's the occasional runtime error caused by BeamLasers and the 'advmapshading' bug.
Imo if the engine becomes stable enough after 0.85 its worth a shot.
He has a decent enough rig (I7 with 2* 580 GTXs)
I am sure we can get him to do a video. Sometimes he does play through with devs via teamspeak/vent.
Maybe we could get some of the ZK dev's to have a game with him and guide him through + express ideas and explain future plans etc. Obviously planet wars would deserve a mention :)
