POST INFOLOG.TXT BY ATTACHING IT AS A FILE TO YOUR POST, NOW!
also try setting LoadMT=0 in ~/.springrc
am a newbie where to find that log.and where can i find load MT.
With $HOME being your home directory (lets say "/home/chaudhry"):
Code:
$HOME/.spring/infolog.txt $HOME/.springrc
Upload infolog.txt as an attachment to your forum post. Edit $HOME/.springrc with your favorite text editor (not ***Office!) - like gedit or leafpad or something. First "search" for "LoadMT" - it's probably not in there - then add a new line at the end of the text file that contains exactly "LoadMT=0". Save and start spring now and if it crashes again post here with infolog attached. If it doesn't post "solved" :)

actually i cant find any file you suggested.i am attaching a screen shot of my home directory and 3 spring folders you can see in it are empty.
you are using the wrong GFX driver. ...or your card is too bad to use an other driver (i think not), and cant run spring. -> get the correct graphic card driver. i don't know how.
i think we have to change our drivers may be roll back to previous ones.but i dont know how and after so much struggle i gave up.and now i am thinking my xp cd will help me playing games.
[f=0000000] Error: This stack trace indicates a problem with your graphic card driver. Please try upgrading or downgrading it. Specifically recommended is the latest driver, and one that is as old as your graphic card. Also try lower graphic details and disabling Lua widgets in spring-settings.
Well, it's integrated, so I can't change it. I can't downgrade drivers either, not sensibly at least. They are the latest (http://mesa3d.sourceforge.net/ -> 7.11.2). I lowered all details that seemed like they could have influence. I didn't find any way to disable Lua-widgets in springsettings.
I thought this was required to get textures? For that reason I installed libtxc_dxtn-1.0.1. I uninstalled it and tried again, spring crashes anyway and with the same error.
Yes, other openGL games work fine (tested with freedroidRPG, naev, etc.).
The weirdest thing is that it sometimes started back when my openGL setup was messed up (had an ENV variable set that pointed to the 32bit graphics driver, something that supposedly was required for wine). The performance was abysmal for any openGL game though. Now I fixed that, direct rendering works, openGL performance is way up and spring crashes on start :)
