I'm going to use this thread to keep track of noticeable updates for CT, however small they might be. Basically stuff like new features, new units (I merged the old New/Remodeled Units thread), breakthrough ideas, breakthrough things that have been figured out. Hopefully this can keep the Spring community in slightly better touch with the project.

Shibata Combat Support Mech MKII
Remodeled heavy missile mech.

Suzume Scout Plane
Changed the radar plane's model and role from a slow, clunky radar plane to a very fast and zippy scout plane.

Hashiba Scout Mech
New unit! Hashiba Scout mech is a fast, light, unarmed unit that is able to build temporary camera towers that are stealthy and cloaked, and die after 30 seconds.

Location: Has not played *a in years.
I love the old one (plane). But I think it can fill a different role, other than 'scout'. Throw a radar dish on it for an AWACS, or some guns on the side for a gunship (AC130 style). Maybe a submarine warfare plane?

Hayabusa Type Fighter
The old Tori Type Fighter has been remodeled into and renamed the Hayabusa Type Fighter. Tori, the Japanese word for "bird", was far too boring, so I renamed it hayabusa, the Japanese word for "falcon." However, I lament sharing the name with the DoA character. It'll just have to do. Farewell old bfighter, thanks for your several months of service.

I liked the old one of that more as well. I don't like the pointy design of the new one. The old one looks more like it is a psuedo stealth aircraft.

Fukurou Type Bomber
The Ure Type Bomber has been remodeled and renamed the Fukurou Type Bomber. Fukurou is the Japanese word for owl. You could call it an anti-mouse bomber :P
The old bomber design was one of the few I really liked, so I maintained the idea while improving the model. The two biggest changes in the remodel is improved team color (more on the wings) and the engine detail, which you can see on the underside images.
Let the "I like the old one more" commence!

Shika Type Vehicle
The Shika Type Vehicle is replacing the old Ureme Type Radar Tank. Shika is the Japanese word for deer. The new unit will be quick, cheap, and unarmed, completing the "Scout" reform, which replaced all of the old, slow and clunky radar units with faster, lighter, recon-type units.

Will we still be having a radar vehicle? they use to make such great complementary units to artillery.

i like all remodels, except for the scout plane. its not even that the new one is in any way bad, its that the old one reminds me of talespin

The anti-cruiser fighter has been remodeled and redesigned to now attack with a continuous beam fired from the small turret that lowers from the nose. Heavily inspired by the X-29.

it wasnt loading it was jsut showing "Image" in your post (as it does when it cant see the image)
After following the link it lead to a blank page. probably just a problem with my internet connection /sigh

Tonbo Type Warplane MkIII
The rocket plane has been remodeled! Used an odd combination of biplane and jet technology to create this beast. Now fires a salvo of four missiles, each of which disappearing as it takes off from the wing! Looks really great in-game. Tonbo is the Japanese word for dragonfly, the name given for its rather obvious resemblance to the insect.

Mining Truck
One of the first major things I decided to do was fix one of the bigger problems in CT, which was the unruly miners for the NKG. Now, two separate units will handle the duties of mining and construction. The old Engineer Support Mech (renamed the Construction Mech) will handle building, as it always has. Mining will now be handled by the Mining Truck!

It will use Knorke's moving tank tread script :D
