Minecraft ruined a LAN-Party. We were ten people, we played loads of diffrent stuff, until i got bored, and played during a break minecraft. It spread like i wildfire, and in the end everybody was happily playing on his own. Now, how do i make LAN-Servers?

Zydox set a server up, 85.227.239.250. Currently, Sheep, Zydox, Teu and I are using it.

Actually, I think I'll setup a Minecraft channel for all us Minecrafters ^_^

Notch is a good developer and i trust his judgement. In the last game he helped develop (wurm online) people were practically begging for him to come back because as soon as he left things just started going down hill. Hes one of the few devs out there who actually listen to what people want and puts it into practice. Too many money whores in the gaming industry at the moment and its rare to come across people like notch.

How do listen to people if everyone has his own opinion...Im not even sure how a dev can "listen" to the community unless there are glaring game breaking stuff which are annoying to the vast majority.

For example if you ask me Id prefer if minecraft became more of a zombie killing where creeps would try and kill you and assult your stuff and not just fumble around mmo style.

Well if he'll disallow placing mined blocks back exactly as they were and instead force players to build their own walls and ceiling with player tiles that creepsare attracted to so players cant just dig in with a torch than it owuld be 10x times better a;ready.
