Sorry guys, we released another broken MT build. It was broken during the last-minute fixes for the missing unit icons. I'm testing the fixed build right now.
I've gone without internet in my home for nearly a month and was going to come back and ask if there had been any recent developments and discovered that, lo and behold, the day I got back internet in my home a new version of spring had been released... I'd take this as a sign that I should play more Spring... but really I have so much other internet to catch up on I'll be a while before I get back to it.
Anyways, kudos on the recent releases... I don't know what they are like first hand but their existence warms my heart.
My ancient p4 mobile has just compiled an entire system using a chrooted gentoo over the last 12 hours because nobody has been bothered to kick of the PPA build. It will take me another 24hrs easily to get the wifi+video hardware to work.... race me
I WANT TO PLAY SPRING, cmon I know it just takes one person to log into a website and hit a button
I assure you I'd run windows if it supported the hardware.
Was happening in 0.82.3 too. Especially noticable on turrets or opened factories. Isn't caused by lua, visible even after '/luaui disable', as seen in the screenshot.
the download page should be adjusted in two places:
Quote:
Latest stable version is: 0.82 -> Latest stable version is: 0.82.5
and:
Quote:
git checkout 0.82.3 -> git checkout 0.82.5
for the NullAI problem: only possible reason for this i could think of right now: NullAI is the only real C AI (no C++), and possibly the new buildbot/mingwgcc there, fails with how we configure C compiling through CMake right now... so failure coudl be in many places, most likely, something to change in our CMake files, but.. no idea what :/ NullAI works under linux.
