 Post subject: New unit: Flash Flasher

Hey guys. Just to combat the nerfing of flash, i have created a t2 unit called the flash flasher thats just like the normal flash only it shoots flash instead. I tested it myself and its great but just wondering what other people think. Should i merge this with official fork?

Pics or it didn't happen, and yes... it needs to be in, and no I don't play XTA so my opinion doesn't matter

Do the flash that it shoots shoot their own flash? If not, I see a potential for improvement in this excellent suggestion.

Yes they do.

Well IK thanks for delving into and consequently ruining the magic that makes this work, but it uses the flash model as the projectile and creates flash at the explosion point.

Flash firing flash is an aweosme loop, it reminds me of the one time i accidently looped a ceg effect.... that multiplied...

its really quite simple. Ill ask noru to put it in next xta when i finsih the lua if you want.

Also u can just download my flash mod if the filehosts still have it its based on XTA models and effects.

It would be much more epic if the Flashes could fire as soon as they left the flash gun. If there's a projectile created callin create flashes then and make them fly with impulse.

wouldnt it be even better if the flash flasher would anticipate any shots it is going to fire in the near future and make it spawn flashes at the anticipated locations? The time it anticipates increases when gaining xp
