Introducing a new boat for arm and core to attract new players to learn and love sea, I present you *----* and *---*.
That's right! I want you to name the core six-legged boat and the arm wheeled giant.
These large beasts cost about 4000 metal and moves at a speed of 1.5 somethings, almost the same speed as a conqueror or executioner! Unfortunately because of the mass it loses half its speed when on land.
It comes with a rapid anti air scout missile turret, firing at half a second each, it does a huge whooping 33 damage per second! while 100 to air. It carries enough armor to take twice the amount of a ship killer.
Currently it has experimental cannons, firing the "guardians/punishers" orange plasma at a higher velocity turbo charged, making it a powerful punch per shot, at the cost of range. These heavy cannons are not very effective vs. small units, however strong vs. other large boats and land defenses.
Expect them raiding a shore one day near you. To be most effective with this boat, mix with hovers! The Dps is sore, but its high hp makes it a threat time consumer against defense!
Legged One could be the Lobster ( or Crab, but I prefer Lobster)... the wheelie one could be the The Krait (a group of venomous amphibious snakes or one of the specific species)
Something something something dark side. Something something something complete.
On a more serious note, despite looking a lot like the duck tours boats and the ones from supcom, I really like the idea of shaking up XTA gameplay a bit.
Also, XTA seems to be littered with a ton of these, just do a /give all and be very amazed.

The "noruas" and the Enterprise are my favourites.
As for shaking up XTA gameplay...
A few more uberunits at the high end of the economic scale would probably be the best bet for an injection of luls/epicness with minimal impact on "srs" play.
Arm t3 anyone?
Landboats:
Arm Tiamat "Tiamat is considered the monstrous embodiment of primordial chaos" Babylonian sea Goddess
Core Proteus "was made the herdsman of Poseidon's seals" He could apparently see the future tho...
edit: given the walker/wheeled distinction, how about making the Arm one slightly faster, and the Core one have a slightly better slope tolerance?
