Last release had some nasty bugs, so here is a bugfix release.

We fixed the most nasty ones for you:
  • fix a bug where empty network packets were spammed (eating bandwidth and demo space)
  • fix a possible desync in the pathfinder
  • fix mouse jumping in windowed mode (windows)
  • fixed crash in KAIK

Download links on the download page

I specced a game (BA 7.01) now:
- i got sync error quite often
- trees were white (no tecture) sometimes (about halfway to render distance)

I guess the server was spring 0.80.5.

Not many people know how to do a forum search correctly: http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=386233#p386233

Well, i havent seen this before. I did not see it in 0.80.5, could be that i never played on a map with trees though. I am on Nvidia/Linux and i assumed it was a new bug. As a developer you should try to be grateful for all feedback.

Would be nice if MT version was the main release. I have used it for 2 versions now on a dual core and it is better.

Can someone put up a link or add it to:

http://github.com/spring/spring/downloads

Thanks

There is still no sync error in his post.

It degrades performance on some multicore systems (including mine).

Thanks for releasing it.

FYI, MT version does work with many widgets.

"Sync error" is sync error.

"No sync response" is NOT sync error.

Still there are lots of sync errors in games, probably because many people still use 0.80.5.0 version. Imho it would better if server forced them to update.

I have crashes everytime an AI dies (using KP Lua AI, not a java or C++ AI) but otherwise it looks like KP works without even having to change anything.

Hi,

have ATM not played in LAN/Net so dont know from any sync problems ..
But have found "one" GFX error ->
With "refraction -> Own Rendering" it display simple NOTHING Unit
underwater. All is O.K. but pass the unit the waterline it dissapears.
(only the part that is underwater to clarify)

With "refraction -> screencopy" all is normal.
Have ATI 1950XT with latest available driver for Win2003Server IMHO.
(Catalyst 9.8 )

Regards
