trees buggy too:

bugs on any map, but on this map you can see some features works, and some doesnt.

note the water, it should have texture on it, since its using /water 0

water/features/trees/everything works fine in older spring versions...

look at the minimap, you see the unit icons are just squares, no textures/transparency at all.

i have this treebugs, when i use 3d-trees and alt-tab while the game is loading

i also noticed that when i turn on reflective units, i cant see units at all!

i see the thing with the trees too, not using 3D trees.
here it only happens when resurrecting or reclaiming wrecks though. example: usually/at start, the trees look ok, then a ressurecter starts his work -> trees turn white, and when he finnished, they turn normal again. when i move the resurrecter away, the trees stay white, and when i move him back to finnish the ressurect/reclaim, threes turn normal again when he finnished.
so looks like some state is toggled there. i run with minimal settings, so maybe the other reporters have this toggled on always casue of higher graphic settings.. whateever it may be :/

new version still has the same problem

1) no textures on water
2) no detailtex on ground
3) some features are white, some not
4) trees are white
5) lua drawing is white
6) minimap icons doesnt have texture and doesnt have transparency
7) when reflective units on, the units are invisible if they are drawn by lua? (micro modules mod units are invisible on that case)

Obligatory question: have you already tried to reset your settings (both spring and ati drivers) to the factory default?

why? (and how ? ati card is already on default drivers, no crap installed from interwebs)

on windows, open the file:

C:\Documents and Settings\*username*\Local Settings\Application Data\springsettings.cfg

and set:

AtiHacks=1

AND IT WORKS

Well, not to state the obvious but you should have the latest Catalyst drivers though I am using XP SP3 32bit so there may be differences. Only two problems I had were flickering tree shadow which I got rid of using on of the render options, I forget which and when using bump mapped water I cannot select shore waves or the game crashes with loading reaches the creating sky part. Haven't tried the ATI hack option though I will, other then that no issues. Oh and driver options can have an impact on many things not limited to spring. I found somethings don't like the catalyst AI enabled but that is what profiles are for.
