Still a few issues to iron out, but because or jK's herculean efforts, ChiliGUI now supports skinning!

The skin in the image is the second ever for Chili, by me. Skin #1 can be found in the latest test revision of CA.

Awesome - nice to see Chili coming along.

Now, the nitpicking: please tell me that skin is WIP - teh black text is barely legible.

Also, will Chili windows stop all spawning in the middle of the screen?

Indeed.

It is; most of the text colors were fixed hours ago, immediately after me taking this shot. The big problem right now is that the skins aren't modular; I need to modify lua files to make the colors work. Once jK gets to letting it load themes and tells me how to change certain menu colors the fun wll begin.

Bug Sirmaverick, CarRepairer, and jK to add % based default starting positions and make sure the windows save state correctly.

Widget selector looks awesome except for the black text on button.

Console is terribly huge (and I'm assuming it never hides / changes size).

Menu is simply ugly, black text and the concentration of bright button outlines gives me eye cancer.

Various improvements, for example, prettier, colored buttons and nicer crude menu colors, have been made.

Personally, I think that's the best-looking general-purpose UI I've seen on Spring, hands down.

At least jk's look a lot better than midknight's bloom explosion.

Very nice job guys. I'd have to say my biggest gripe about chili is that it isn't structured at all. As in, the various windows default positions seem to be "Somewhere on the screen". It looks too haphazard for me. I suppose I jsut like orderliness *shrug*

Btw the first screen jk posted looks great.

I prefer dark glass, the new white glass (and disabled outline) makes it very hard to read text.
Text looks horribly blurry.

We didn't implement decaying chat so there's no point. I have no desire for this feature myself.

And we are arguably now in possession of the prettiest GUI Spring has ever seen.

Thanks, jK! :-)
