on some BA version "LuaRules\Gadgets\areaattack.lua" fixed it some time ago, idk when. but it really crashed Spring.exe at that time...

i havent noticed lua crashes recently. probably is fixed by now..? idk. thats what im wondering, does it still crash Spring.exe if lua makes div0 error or etc?

Hmm, I though he was talking about which files in the Spring directory should be moved into subdirs.

Hey guys, please don't shout me down here, but could you please provide portable versions for all spring releases (Including RC's)? I would be eternally grateful.

If you are talking about my point, then I'm not refering to any new files from previous version. I'm just saying, the main Spring directory has always been full of junk and it's annoying and messey.

It should be split up, which should be reasonably easy.

What the main Spring directory should contain is the folders and Spring.exe with maybe one or two super important files that don't fit into any of the existing folders.

It should not look like this:

The main problme there are the dlls, and they have to be in the same dir as spring.exe, or we have to use ugly glitches like adding the subdir wit hthe libs ot the PATH env var permanently or starting spring through a scribt or a starter.exe. moving spring.exe into a sub folder is not a trivial thing, as all the world expects it to be in the root dir.

I did have it on Details view but I changed it to Tile just to illustrate how annoying the problem is! :D

Also, I don't know if this is engine releated or mod releated but I'd guess engine: viewtopic.php?p=369016#p369016

1) is radar range fixed? before i couldnt set my radar range as long as i wanted.
2) is the airplane health bug fixed? when it loses all its HP, it will show 50% HP and when you kill it again it goes to 50% again...

Same thing that happened when VLC got to 1.0:
it stops working for me and forum whine gets closed with "jesus christ windows 2000 we are so not supporting that" LOL

Okay VLC is a media player and this is a RTS game
but same thing happened in Supcom beta to Supcom release so it should be a good guess!!

Thought that Shadows don't work but it was actually that if advshading is disabled then shadows are disabled too before the game is started. If advshading is on then disabling it ingame won't disable shadows.

Seems good to me. Though I didn't test a lengthy game.

Could we test a 0.80 multithreaded version of Spring?

[edit] oh there was one thing though... It was in last Spring version and is in this one. Gunships in NOTA have fuel when they run out of it they do go to refuel but if all pads are occupied they still strafe around the enemy while not shooting. Thor said he doesn't know how to fix it

So - do we have any documentation for this yet?

It's work in progress ;-)
I'll see if I can dump some initial drafts in the wiki in a week or so.

(I was on vacation past 10 days.)

In cmdcolors.txt "alwaysDrawQueue" is enabled by default. That is quite confusing, especially when trying to micro.
