 Post subject: Old sounds in spring?

these new 3d sounds sucks tbh, can we get old sound system back?

i dont want to hear my sounds any louder the closer i zoom, etc.

and btw did they change BA sounds?, sometimes i hear the command issue sounds like in slowmotion or something o.O

This. Slowmotion sounds suck, as do highpitched fast motion sounds.
3D sounds sucks, it just annoys the hell out of me when it changes the volume. I want a set volume so I can hear my music instead of having to zoom out so I can hear it properly...

OH YEAH,i think there was fastmotion sounds too.. .sometimes they just sound weird, i thought its a bug or something...

No... I really don't, and that's information you should provide when you're asking for help. Anyway, searching your posts makes me guess you're using XP SP3 and in XP you find it here:

%homepath%\local settings\application data\springsettings.cfg

I havent been able to play spring with sound on since this update, i dont want ears bursting everytime i play.


is there anyway to go back to mono sound, also /adjust thing isnt perm, i have to do it every game.

can we get an option to remove this height volume adjust, its fucking annoying to play when suddenly you hear fucking loud sounds, and then most of the time you dont hear sounds almost at all, so you need to put speakears sound higher and lower all the fucking time.
