So are you good for anything other than recycling jokes
In fact, don't bother answering. Just stay out of this forum
why so hostile ?
i wasnt trying to be negative. Ive given SWIW alot of praise without playing it(which is rare for me), I just like many other people who arent beta testing want to try it as soon as possible.
because your little remark has subtle negative connotations. Ones that I doubt escape you, implying their project is vapor ware is rude and unnecessary. Add to that you have a history of this sort of behavior means that you have exhausted all levels of tolerance from most of us.

just rename yourself and give no indication that you used to be otherside and everyone will be fine with you, its just the name that carries epic bad rep from ca fanboying days
As I've said, I'm going through a rather difficult period at the moment with my uni semester at it's peak (just went 2 days without sleep) and various other RL issues. June 9th I'm finished, and will turn my attention to IW with the intention of getting as much done in the next two months as I can.
Previously I was doing a Bachelor's at uni, and had a lot more time for IW during semester, now that I'm doing my master's I'm finding that most of that time gets eaten up quite quickly once I get into semester.
Again, apologies to keep you all waiting. It was our intention to not get everyone too excited, and just provide enough information to show that we were still alive, which we very much are.
sounds must be identical to the original star wars but remade from scratch ?
since this is open game, in legal terms you probably are limited to using non-commercial software, that's pretty bad news because all the good stuff I got is all cubase and wavelab VST's hundreds of them (like Waves)
maybe if my system goes online this week I will see what I got (already produced) that might fit you and see if it's legal because I don't really remember what softwares I used to produce some of the already complete works (which are not yet used anywhere) but that is not star wars original sounds, that will require a complete new approach, going from synthesis based to sampling based - and I have no idea how lucas sampled all his sounds (given that we all know that lucas produces all his sounds by himself and does not use sample libraries).
I wonder what kind of effect non-original star wars sounds might have on this project
