Can automated downloader system now use jobjol as one of its mirrors?

Is there any reason now to still forbid downloaders from using it?

I think that it either works (if file has other mirrors or someone seeds) or people go to jobjol to download it manually anyway. So traffic should not increase at all..

If anything, it will make downloader system more reliable and people will download from site less often. And since downloader splits load to all mirrors in the end it could decrease load on jobjol.

Partially because the vast majority of downloads from jjs file site are actually redirected to darkstars.

That and jjs file system doesn't save things in the expected manner so you would need database calls to figure out which file contains what you wanted.

Licho's talking about the situation where the file is only on jobjol.

This. A lot of people are uploading only to Jobjol, and apparently the filehosts are insufficiently incestuous.

Yes, torrent system already uses darkstars (or any other mirror listed on jobjol). But many files stay only on jobjol.

This it would be appear, is a flaw in his mirroring system. You would be wiser to ask for a fix rather than demand bandwidth after all the hassle hes waded through

Fixing mirrors would be nice.. if there is need for more mirrors i think springrts can serve as a mirror too..

So yes, as long as jobjol upload to other sites, there is no need to fetch data directly from it.
