Are you at least able to tell us the conditions under which this does and does not occur?

I think you switched the filenames. The effect of that kbot being over menu is pretty cool imo.

I have no idea how it works, I'm no coder. All I know is it looks phail in Pic 1 and it should look like Pic 2 which I simply edited in Fireworks.

What browser are you using? It looks identical to the 'win' one in Opera.

I see the phail version in FireFox. Only happens with that one kbot - I now see the X-Wings one and they work fine.

Let me just point out this issue only appears in that specific image, I'm guessing the image is either too large or too out margined and forces the nav bar down a few pixels.

I'm using FF3. All the other banners using the same overlap effect look fine.

That is intentional and looks rly good imho. Try reloading and see how other banners overlap menu rly nicely. Like those planes or tank's barrel.

Edit: that banner you pointed out does look different than the others.

Read post above yours, all other headers look fine. All I know is the nav bar shouldn't be separated from the main header image.

Wisse, take a closer look. There is an unsightly gap that only appears in that kbot version on FF3.

I've fixed both this CA banner and the Spring: 1994 one, which had some weird lines at the bottom.

Replace them if possible. :)

Also, you may want to use this base PSD file to make a better version of your banner, Otherside.

Was gonna mention the S44 one too but didn't think that one was as important but thanks :)

Sorry about the errors, I made them pretty quickly

Also, yes, the overlap was intentional - if you look at the one with the two IW fighters in it (which I'm guessing roflcopter made) he used overlap, and it looks really nice, in my opinion, so I duplicated the effect on all the other banners that I made.

Whoever is uploading the new banners, STOP.

Look what you're doing: Image

Fix the olds ones, don't add new ones if they will look eww.

I personally like the overlap, and as Zsinj said, he was just following Fnordia's lead (I don't think Rolfcopter did the PURE plane or Z-95 headers but I could be wrong) on the matter.

As I've said in this thread already, I made all the new banners, and the overlap is entirely intentional.

Overlap of the Blue line is Good, overlap of the buttons is only good if the piece if being finished (like the wings and guns ones). Having a piece come over the buttons a little and then cut off looks phail...
