Yeah, that's right, I even made a custom header for it, too. See the little "v0.92" there? Cute, eh?

Anyway, Click the banner to head to our Downloads page, or just SpringDownload/torrent/whateva.

Changelog here.

We've also created an installer which includes Spring, Spring: 1944 modfile and maps, and SpringLobby, for dissemination to the world at large.

Discuss.

Existence of a slashdot-effect iterates more weight to the need for moar "major-game news on the frontpage".

I'll be bitching at our webhost in the near future about the CPU bit. I paid for business-grade web hosting, and spring1944.com is a relatively tiny site in terms of traffic, size, and complexity... so we shouldn't be having problems.

The piano's classic :-) Does it play random snippets of 1940's music yet?

all soldiers in the range of a piano get a moral bonus equal to the number of other soldiers in range.

However, they also get a similar penalty in spotting ability

It all depends on the musical skill of the GI playing.

I want to merge it with that insect mod in development. Red Alert's Ant missions? Eat your bleeding heart out!

LOL! Ironically we've already been planning to have "Zombie Robot Nazi Defense" mode (a la Chicken Defense) which will feature waves of zombies and robot Nazis (with the final boss being Mecha-Hitler).

Planned for inclusion is a Zombie Nazi wielding an MG42 in each hand, 7 foot tall blond, naked Aryans who run around punching things, and more!
