Nothing more to say really.
Watching replays creates new replays with a new player added: "unnamed (spec)"

This can fill up the replay list pretty quick...

consider this a feature, everything you say/draw/mark will get saved in this new replay ;)

ok i see this can be usefull.
it should probally be on option though or the new replays should be saved in a seperate folder.

What about a gamesetup option (ie. lobby option) to enable/disable saving of replay? This way lobby client could provide a checkbox in their replay screen or hardcode the default they think is appropriate.

Yes that's what I suggested at first in the mantis issue about this, but the consensus now is that the feature is too useful to just rip out entirely.

Oh, no, I didn't mean that... just to be able to shut it off, if we don't want to record.

I make use of demo recordings, and I certainly wouldn't want it removed entirely. I apologize, I haven't slept and I should probably do that, if I'm being unclear :roll:

Won't it add a new spec player for each replay? A lot of repeating annotations of replays could fill the player limit.

Which will be 251 for next version, so you can watch it many times.


And btw, we should add a seperate section (as in not in [GAME]) for various unsynced options.
