Having a bunch of old demos from 0.76 is causing both springlobby and TASClient to be nearly unstartable. I had to kill -9 springlobby, and it still took about 4 minutes for my hard drive to recover.

The workaround is to move everything in ~/.spring/demos

Similar problems were reported on Windows by a TASClient user

Don't be so defensive, if it's also a symptom in TASClient that means it's not a TASClient bug, but instead a Spring one.

or not ... replays are files, each lobby list them with its own method and it's not related to spring at all, and it works for me on springlobby and tasclient ...
