I prefer it that way.

While it's a pain in the arse to draw, I think you need ot mvoe away from the 'greebled box' designs, as they do tend to look pretty much like some sort of bulk freighter or something similar.

Of course it looks like a bulk freighter. The Beluga is a bulk freighter!

If these are from a particular scifi universe, I'm unfamiliar with it.
