This tournament is being organised as part of the S44 game night intiative, and all players and spectators are welcome, regardless of skill level. We will try and organise brackets to accommodate various levels of experience.

Spring 1944 site

For those of you who can't be bothered to link to s44's frontpage, here's the most important part:

Winners from both brackets will be immortalized in a commented replay of the match of their choice, with commentary from the lead designer (me).

Excellence is fleeting, fame is momentary, but LEGEND is ETERNAL! BECOME A LEGEND, COME TO THE TOURNEY!

We have not yet hammered out the map list, but it is likely to start with
1944 Red Planet Remake, include SirArrturi's masterwork 1944 Moro River in the middle round and feature either 1944 Prokhorovka or one of Nixa's epics as the first match of the finals (with the remaining matches as loser's choice). More details to come!
