No comdrop on enemy start location in first 10 minutes.
Use "comm ends no draw" modoption (ie. if a comm dies in anothers comblast, you don't die & dgunning comm makes you lose)

Single elimination, finals are bo5, earlier rounds bo3.

seems good to me; but hell, if you get enough people together, do it earlier... ppl gotta get up for work and school, this time choice is probably best if you want people from europe and north america playing... early afternoon for us, evening for you

Let people schedule their own imo, like you said people have school and work, I can't play early afternoon, I'm not home then.

I would recommend earlier, tournies generally start later than the specified time, and 7pm is quite a late start time tbh.

Is a tourney really the right place to play not very familiar maps?

not a bad point gota; but this way people can prepare and try the maps out and work on strategies beforehand...

tbh i think it would be pretty cool if the WHOLE tourney could be played on -new- maps that are only released moments before the tourney begins... that way everyone would be on the same level in terms of map knowedge

And reveal their untested imbalances and shaft people on their first round of the tourney
