Starting from the next major spring release ( read: at least 6 months from this post timestamp, something like 0.83.x ), spring will stop handling d-gun limit option from the engine internals

there's a sample gadget that replaces it's functionality, mods that wishes to use it can get it in springcontent archive, LuaGadgets/LuaRules/Gadgets/unit_limit_dgun.lua

The additional API for AIs and Lua script that handles it will be removed

Edit: grammar and spelling and a small mistake

Thanks for informing the unwashed masses 8) (Though I already knew as i read the git log every day)

Perhaps BD should be given dev status on the forum? Or at least moderator abilities.
