It worked fine until new release of Spring 0.87. I completely deleted Spring folder and created new one, but still I can not start TAS Client getting error "initialization of application was not successfull (0xc0150002)". When trying with Spring lobby I get: "slobby is unable to load your unitsync library. You might want to take another look at your unitsync setting"
I tried to choose the unitsync.dll manually, it is physically there, but it can not load it.
I would like to get TAS Client worked again.

screenshot ! if it's a classic tasclient error, then you probably have error details ... no details no fix, you can try "tasclient.exe -debug -log -start" and pastebin the

TASClient_Err.log
TASClient_Scripts.log
TASClient_Start.log

next to tasclient.exe

Hi Satirik,
I do not have TASClient_Start.log and TASClient_Err.log. They are not in Spring folder.
TASClient_Scripts.log:
--------------------
14.3.2012 - 18:35:28
--------------------

Loading scripts: Loading layout profiles: Dockable Autohost Options, Dockable BattleForm, Dockable Channels List, Dockable Widget Database, MyOptions Vertical Under Map Details, MyOptions Vertical

antiPMspam, forumIt, googleIt, layoutProfileManager, mapdownload, renamers, replaysBrowser, stick, unlockJoin, z_autoUnspec

Parsing timers...

stick registered timer function timer_2() for every 2 seconds

there is no way you can have a TASClient_Scripts.log and no start

the date and time of the TASClient_Scripts.log seems ok

did you run tasclient with the arguments i gave you ?

anyway it seems you're having a corrupted or missing unitsync.dll

the -start is useless actually, delete the TASClient_Scripts.log and start again, if it writes a new TASClient_Scripts.log then you MUST have a TASClient_Start.log too if you don't then i can't help you, the start log is made at the very beginning of the tasclient code while the scripts log is done way later

actually it does not generate any log file (I checked). The TASClient_Scripts.log I postet was mistakenly taken from the other Spring folder where is the old version of Spring 85.0 which I can run on local server.

as discussed, see attached scan of TAS Client exe with dependency walker. It found something.

just as note: this should be fixed in the next release.

see viewtopic.php?f=73&t=27881

"current devil in installer depends on msvcp80.dll but only msvcp71.dll is included"

we really need help to setup more automatic tests to prevent such breakages.

I put msvcp80.dll in the Spring folder. It did not generate any error but it also does not open the main window (just the loading screen and then it dissapears - no tasclient.exe found in processes). I scanned it again and it said msvcr80.dll is missing. I downloaded msvcr80.dll and put it in the Spring folder. Same result - it ends by initialising (the loading window just disappears and nothing happens). I run TASClient.exe with parameters you gave me (see attached TASClient_Start.log). I scanned it again and there is still some problem (see also screenshot).

and tasclient.exe is closed or you still have it in the taskbar ?

if you can see it in the taskbar, select it and hit CTRL SHIFT F5 to reinit the mainwindow pos and size
