View topic - NKG stuff seems too weak/expensive? balance issue VS drones?

So I'm playing NKG and my miners are hauling in ore by the truckload, and I've got maybe 20 miners mining but I still struggle to keep even 1 mech factory running without Metal stalls. Meanwhile when I play drones I don't metal stall like that. So is it just me or are NKG units too expensive? or maybe they are too weak compared to the amount of metal it takes to make them?

We would have to actually have a decent sample size of games with humans to determine this. Which you know I'm all for. : ) That being said I think the nkg plays a stonger late game.

i balanced it to be about same-ish income wise as mexes.
i think it is also an issue with build rates general balance like movement speed:
once two armies meet, it is often a fight to the death.
it is hard to retreat/repair units (beside repairing cruisers which is a bit gay imo)
so slow rebuilding speeds hurt even more.
