Helium server info / desync info

Post by knorke »

Before playing games type:
!rehost xta 9.729
!setengine 94.1

Just in case that the settings were not saved.
This seems to solve desyncs.
(at least in tests with abma http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.ph ... 26#p542526)

jK's theory is different:
Desyncs can be caused by stale path cache.

That means if you or another player get a message like...
[f=0000000] Warning: [DESYNC WARNING] path-checksum 08ad9a98 for player 1 ([LCC]jK) does not match local checksum 737e2b2f; stale PathEstimator-cache?
...then the game can desync.

To fix that, find the cache\paths folder and delete all the files in it.
