I've just installed Kernel Panic 4.0 on my XP, and now every letter of all the the text in the main menu is a box the size of the letter (for example: e is a square and l is a tall rectangle). This seems to happen to all of the text in the first line of each separate text box in the game, but only in the single player game. I'll attach a screenshot if necessary.

EDIT: it seems that when playing (what I assume to be) level one, if I move my mouse off of the map into the black area and don't click anything, the blocks go away and readable text appears. it doesn't make level one any easier though, because the building menu in the top right is missing, too.

Uh. That's curious and I'm not sure what I can do. The odd thing is that the text at the bottom corners is still readable, even though it's drawn with the same command. I'd say "post your infolog.txt", but then there's nothing I could do with it myself. I'll need the help of a Spring dev.

Also, does it happen when you play in full screen? (remove the -w option from the shorcut, or go double click Spring.exe or Kernel_Panic_4.0_Launcher.exe into your install folder)

Does it happen with other Spring version, like this test build?

Edit: I asked a dev and he said:
<jK> user problem
<jK> more explicit: extremely outdated drivers + wrong driver settings

Whoa, this happens to me since 82.5, even on 82.5.1. The rare thing is that it happens on every mod and every map.

And in EVERY LOBBY!!!
