If you look at the code an image is suppose to appear here as the code shows but it does not. The NOTA wiki has the same problem.
In preview the images show but not once the page is saved. Any one know why?
Code:
==== [[NOTA]] (Mod)==== [[Image:Nota2nukes.jpg|200px|right|]] Not Original Total Annihilation is a rethink of the Total Annihilation universe but completely different gameplay from OTA, focusing on a strategic base oriented play. Huge battles erupt engaging hundreds of units and scores of unit types. NOTA is the author for a completely rethought air and sea gameplay forcing participation in all elements of the battle field if the tide of conflict is to be your decision. <b>If you like complex warfare this is Your Mod.</b>

mm, ya, image rendering seems to be broken on the wiki's for the new site. I'm not sure what the cause is.
[edit] other than images not rendering, the wiki is meant to be edited. If you see a broken page, fix it. If you like to use the wiki, it's your responsibility to contribute to it's usability.
as said in an other thread in the Dev forum: when i try ot upload an image to the wiki, it tells me that directory public is not writeable by the webserver. So this should be made writeable by the webserver, or the error message should rather say: you have insufficient rights to upload images
It's not broken. It's an issue with the banner image, not the site design. I'd remove the image entirely, but honestly, it's not that ugly to warrant doing.

The linked wiki pages from the home page still have issues, the games page in particular. It needs more images, but as far as I can tell there is no way of displaying them in the wiki page. I know that there are plenty of screenshots available in the media section of the site and on the sites of the games listed on the page, so the issue of content is not a problem. It is a matter of being able to display them. I have done a fair bit of work on the games page, but it still needs those images.
I have encountered exactly the same problems as hoijui has described. We need to either unbork the image uploading on the wiki, or have a way of integrating the uploaded content from the media section of the site with the wiki.
This link: http://cloud.github.com/downloads/spring/spring/spring-vc8libs-v5.7z From the wiki page on building with windows is broken; 403 requires a login. the vc9libs link works, but the page infers that there is a distinct difference. Also, it is either not listed on the mirror provided here: http://www.warriorhut.org/spring or I'm overlooking it. This frustrated me enough that I tried to build using MinGW but I'm having trouble getting CMake to work with the MinGW, which was even more frustrating and I'd rather use my visual studio anyways. Any help is greatly appreciated.
