a central builder widget.
There is an ai for this but what you need to do is select exactly the cons you want than choosing the ai for that.
I think we need a widget that will allow the selection of a building from all available buildlists to the player(types of cons he has).Once u select a building u place it and the nearest con that is capable of building it will do so.

Re: Feature request
sorta like the build lists in the C&C games... hrmm. i like this idea (o_O i'm shocked too) might need to be implimented mod-side though. it would also only want to control your idle cons though, since having a con walk away from 95% complete HLT because you need some solars would suck

Re: Feature request (central build AI widget)
Maybe sime attention can be redirected to widgets that divesify gameplay and not make day/night cycles etc...even though that one is petty cool.
Re: Feature request (central build AI widget)
theres central build AI AI you know? (which i never used because i didnt want builders doing anything stupid)
edit: ahh right, you know. Do you know that helper AIs in spring are assigned to groups of units? Thats right, you get a group of builders controlled by central build AI, and rest not controlled. (edit: You can even have auto-add-to-group widget, maybe it'll work.)
Your post is kind of confusing. I dont know if thats what you want, or what you dont want.
