Map Hijack!

Someone called zwzsg is hosting a mod that contains stuff to replace the map with his own variant. He couldn't get people to download his map, so instead he made a *A variant mod with a hidden map inside (but subtly). Newbs are getting tricked! They see the usual 50v50 DSD, join, and instead of DSD, ingame the map changes into Palladium.

This is wrong! Mods should not be able to modify maps! We have to forbid mods from ever modifying maps again!

Henceforth I hereby request that all .lua be locked out of mods.

NOOO! New players are getting tricked! Whenever a completely new player selects the one out of fifteen BA/DSD games going on - which they will! - they will be tricked! Their time will be wasted! They will *gasp* get a wrong picture of DSD that will remain with them forever, and soils the name into all eternity!

Stop this madness now! Modify the engine! Make a host option to disable special stuff from the mod! Who cares if the game crashes or gets borked, at least you'll be able to view the proper DSD heightmap/skybox even though you can't do shit!

This obviously concerns the community at large, which is incapable of doing anything about it. Also this issue will plague Spring into all eternity unless mods lose the ability to affect the map!

I think its a great idea, this way, we can ween them off DSD BA slowly.

Force them to play something new!
